Late October is the time of year while Americans old and young dress up and emerge as a person - or something - else for an afternoon or two. It's also the time when American motors young and old dress into something else and parade around the annual SEMA Show. Some are pretty, some quite terrifying. This 12 months's show proved a chunk tamer than ultimate year (no all-new three hundred-mph supercars or $1.5 million off-avenue motorhomes, we are aware of), but it was nonetheless wall-to-wall with lusty sports vehicles, delicious retromods and all other forms of wild one-of-a-types.
We're focusing totally on vehicles (and things that seem like vehicles) right here, as we will be doing a separate gallery for the jacked-up vehicles and 4x4s. We've already looked at among the coolest debuts, from an all-electric eCOPO Camaro drag vehicle, to a pizza-tossing Toyota Tundra, to a totally electrified 1949 Mercury Coupe. Here are some different standouts:
Dodge and Mopar hold bombarding the marketplace with undoubtedly hellacious overall performance merchandise, this time releasing the "Hellephant" 426 Supercharged Mopar Crate HEMI engine and Kit, a beast of a plug-and-play V8 that develops up to 1,000 hp and 950 lb-feet. The all-aluminum block engine consists of a supercharger with excessive-performance rotor; valve teach, valves, locks and retainers from the Dodge Demon; and valve covers from the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye.
